Pegram Lake is a wet spot that gets much rain; most of the rain falls during July, and April is the month with the least moisture. If you come at the right time of year, Deep River offers some tremendous whitewater, and camping at Summit Conference center is always a glorious experience. If you need a place to stay Quality       Inn & Suites is a good choice, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Cedarcrest Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. So much amusing stuff to do at Pegram Lake, so little time. Here at Pegram Lake there are plenty of folks from Greensboro-High Point; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GREENSBORO-EAST is a great location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Reedy Fork Creek, and a lovely lake like Hackett Lake is a good location to stop at. High temperatures at Pegram Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's.
