Dry warm beds await you at Havelock-Days Inn, and on a beautiful day you can visit Indian Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Near Patsy Pond you find the Neusiok Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Patsy       Pond is not far at all from New Bern. For the duration of the summer months at Patsy Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 70's. All through the winter the highs are commonly in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Patsy Pond temperatures plunge to the 30's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Patsy Pond a wet site; the wettest month of the year is usually July,                  that's the one that rains the most, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Camping at Goose Creek Family Resort is always a tremendous experience, and some of the water nearby flows, like Broad Creek.
