This lake is so wonderful. Country Lodge is a great spot to get some rest, and Raleigh Municipal Lake Dam is a scenic site, certainly worth checking out. So much fun stuff to do here at Parkers Pond, too brilliant to be true. If you need a place to stay Budget Inn is a splendid choice. At Parkers Pond throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. All through       the winter highs are in the 40's; nighttime lows at Parkers Pond through the winter ordinarily sink into the 20's. Here at Parkers Pond there are plenty of folks from Raleigh-Cary, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Neuse River. Parkers Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is April.
