Parkers Pond is a nice lake to visit. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Fuquay-Varina, Nc is a pleasant place to spend a night or two; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Hidden Valley Golf Course. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Parkers Pond; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Parkers Pond a wet spot; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is September. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Going for a hike on the East Loop Horse Trail is always a good adventure, and Parkers Pond is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Dream Camps is a pleasant spot to camp nearby. Here at Parkers Pond you'll probably meet
some people from Dunn, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Buckhorn Creek. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Fuquay-Varina is a great choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Cape Fear offers some pleasant whitewater.
