The yearly rainfall here at Panther Lake is about average; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is April. Panther Lake is a great location to camp, Camptown RV is a great location; Holiday Inn Express Fuquay-Varina, Nc is a splendid place to get some rest. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Panther Lake; Little Creek Loop Trail is a perfect local trail. Through the summer months, highs       usually are in the 80's at Panther Lake while nighttime lows are typically in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's; overnight lows at Panther Lake all through the wintertime ordinarily drop into the 20's. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things right next door to Panther Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the East Loop Horse Trail, and paddling on Upper Little River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking                  is available along the Group Camp Trail, and if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Fuquay-Varina is a nice choice. At Panther Lake Dam in the vicinity of Panther Lake there are some interesting things to see; while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Raleigh-Cary.
