In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Green River; Brushy Mountain can be seen from Palmetto Lake. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Hitching Post Campground is a great campground here, and Cove Creek is a good whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Heaven's View Motel; some of the water       close by flows, like Casey Branch. Lakes are such calm locations, why not take a look at Palmetto Lake in close proximity to Palmetto Lake; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Kenmure Country Club. The high level of rain makes Palmetto Lake a pretty wet spot; through August this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. High temperatures at Palmetto Lake through the summer are in the 80's. For the duration                  of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Palmetto Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Oaks Bed And Breakfast is a wonderful place to get some rest, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a glimpse of at Palmetto Lake Upper Dam next to Palmetto Lake.
