Green River
 | This section is fun but not very difficult. The river is full of tubers in the summer. Trout fishing is good here so bring a rod, just be sure you know the regulations as they change on different sections and the game wardens are notorious ticket writers. The put in is at ''Fish Top'' access and the take out is at the ''Big Rock'' access parking lot both on Green River Cove Rd. Also from the Big Rock access to the public landing on Lake Adger is a good trip, but a little slower.... |
Lake Bonclarken
 | I hope whoever reads this Email knows Susan White Jones (Mrs. Reuben) She used to live in Spartanburg, SC and was a member of our ''Teena'' Club. We are now in our 70s. One of our members, Fran Bailey Kendrick has cancer and is very ill. She was allowed to go to her home yesterday with Hospice visiting her. If you could get this word to Susan, I know Fran would like to speak to her and her phone number is 864-582-8258. I tried to call Susan at home and finally remembered that she goes to Bonclarken every summer. My name is Jeanne Foster Clark jeannefclark@charter. Net
Please let me know if you can help me, Susan and Fran. Thank you so very much ... |

The Flowermill RV Park
 | 17 miles away we came from california and have stayed at many different campgrounds. This is by far, the best we have found. Just perfect.... We plan on being here a long time. ...Bought by Susan and Steve Suber in 1997, the Flowermill RV. campground is in Taylors, SC. It's proximity to The Mountains and surrounding lakes makes it a perfect place to stay. The park is right next to the Enoree river on land that was once used as a mill. The old structure still exists as does the dam that provided its power. With its sandy beach and beautiful waterfall, I cant think of a better place to relax and let the sounds of nature wash the stress away. The owners couldn't have been nicer or more informative. A pure delight... |
