Why not stop by Paitts Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Paitts Lake is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Jomeokee Campground is a fine place to camp nearby, and hiking along the Moores Knob Trail is great fun. Get covered with water paddling on Dan River, and if you've had enough of Paitts Lake, Mallard Lake Lower is close by. Holiday Inn Select Winston-Salem-Univ Pkwy, Nc is a perfect place to get some rest.

| | Take a hike on the Cooks Wall Trail, and you're most likely into lakes, K and W Lake is one of those nearby. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Creek; an afternoon playing golf at Grandview Golf Club is always a diversion. This lake is so wonderful. Paitts Lake is right next door to Piatts Lake Dam which is a charming spot beyond doubt worth going to, and if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Winston-Salem is a fine choice.

in one place! Paitts Lake is so good! Lots of people from Winston-Salem come to Paitts Lake, and Barkers Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Paitts
Lake has to offer, you can camp at Serenity Stables and Campground, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Cascade Trail. The high level of rainfall makes Paitts Lake a reasonably wet place; during the month of July you
get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is November.
At Paitts Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Paitts Lake drop into the 20's.
