A nice site to camp here at Owens Lake is Oak Hollow Campground, and Oak Hollow Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. Lots of precipitation falls at Owens Lake; most of the rain falls all through July; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, Boulding Branch is a stream you can go to while here, and if you need a place to stay Knights Inn High Point is a perfect choice.       Playing golf is lots of fun at Jamestown Park Golf Course, and you'll probably meet some folks from Greensboro-High Point here. Why not camp at Greensboro Campground while you're here at Owens Lake; if you get bored of Owens Lake you could also stop at nearby Oak Hollow Lake. After a long day outdoors Courtyard By Marriott High Point is a great place to spend a night or two. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Owens Lake. During the moonlight hours                  it's usually in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 40's with temperatures at Owens Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in close proximity to Owens Lake.
