    Do stop by Ott Lake while you're in this part of North Carolina. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Ott Lake is so good! Deep River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and you'll meet a lot of people from Southern Pines here. Ott Lake Dam is a stunning site near Ott Lake, and Biscoe Days Inn is a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Birkhead Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this  
   neighborhood, and why not camp at Holly Bluff Family Campground while you're here at Ott Lake.
The high level of rain makes Ott Lake a quite wet spot; August is when you get the most rain here while April is ordinarily the driest month. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Uwharrie Jeep Trail. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Deep River, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn.

               here at Ott Lake you can take a hike along the Uwharrie National Recreation Trail, and if you're here, you could visit Lick Creek. At Ott Lake all through the days of summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's while Ott Lake night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 20's.
