The beauty of Osceola Lake is reason enough to stop by. Osceola Lake is right by the Side Hill Trail, and camping is available at Alpine woods RV Park. From a rainfall point of view Osceola Lake is a reasonably typical place; through March this area sees the most rain; October is the month with the least moisture. Hiking along the Shut-In Trail is glorious fun; if you need a location to stay Bonaire Motel is a perfect choice.

| | is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Near Osceola Lake you hit upon a golf course called Hendersonville Country Club, and dry warm beds await you at Mountain Inn and Suites Airport. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Big Hungry Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot in the vicinity of Osceola Lake; a good spot to camp here at Osceola Lake is Big willow Campground.

is a heap of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Ski Beech is near Osceola Lake; the scenery at Osceola Lake Dam is beautiful. High temperatures at Osceola
Lake throughout the summertime months are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Osceola Lake. And if that's not sufficient,
there's plenty more to do next to Osceola Lake. A great location for whitewater paddling next to Osceola Lake is Green River, and the Mullinax Trail offers hiking at its best.
