In North Carolina there are many beautiful lakes, Osage Lake is one of them. At Osage Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 80's; the night is slightly colder of course, mostly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Osage Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Osage Lake a wet place; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month

| | with the least amount of precipitation. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Osage Lake. A wonderful close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Dillard, Ga, and striking scenery and nice skiing is what you acquire at Scaly Mountain.

Mountains is trouble-free. You get a perfect sight of Ford Mountain from Osage Lake; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Highlands Falls Country Club Pool & Tennis is close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Why
not camp at Blue Valley Campground while you're here at Osage Lake, and after a long day outdoors The Inn at Half Mile Farm is a perfect location to spend a night or two.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge
Mountains. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Flat is right here at Osage Lake, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sky Valley if you're here. Float down the rapids
of Cullasaja River in a kayak; since you're here you can take a hike along the Bartram Trail.
A splendid location to check out near Osage Lake is Beegum Gap, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Three Forks Trail.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains. Not far from Osage Lake you get some delightful water scenery at Osage Lake Dam; why not stop at close by Jake Branch since you're here at Osage Lake.
Don't try to stop
me, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Osage Lake. Get covered with water paddling on Middle Creek, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Shortoff Mountain Trail.
