Hiking along the Northington Ferry Trail is splendid fun, and a golf course nearby is Sanford Golf Course. During the warmest time of the year at Oldhams Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Through
the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Oldhams Lake are in the 20's. Heritage Camping and Recreation is a wonderful local campground, and the Lanier Falls Trail offers hiking at its best.
