A visit to Oldhams Lake is always a good idea. Oldhams Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is September. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Sanford, Nc is a brilliant location to get some rest, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Northington Ferry Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Oldhams Lake is not the only spot nearby, Oldham Lake Two is a nearby lake; there's some interesting

| | stuff to observe at Oldham Lake Upper Dam in close proximity to Oldhams Lake. The Campbell Creek Loop is a great hiking trail right next door to Oldhams Lake, and if you get bored of Oldhams Lake you could also check out close by Oldham Lake One. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Deep River, and Jordan Dam RV Park and Campground is a fine local campground. is a great place to camp nearby, and Oldhams Lake is a place with many visitors from Sanford. At Oldhams Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, usually in the 60's.
Throughout the winter the highs are frequently in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Oldhams Lake. Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Oldhams Lake. On a splendid day
