Get yourself into a kayak and hit Deep River, and while you're here, you could also check out pretty Oldham Lake One. The high level of rain makes Oldham Lake Two a quite wet spot; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Lanier Falls Trail is wonderful fun, and if you need a                  place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Sanford, Nc is a tremendous choice. If you come at the right time of year, Bear Creek offers some great whitewater, and camping is available at Jordan Dam RV Park and Campground. Oldham Lake Lower Dam is worth visiting if you're here, and Oldhams Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Oldham Lake Two. Going for a hike along the Campbell Creek Loop will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; a tremendous close by hotel is Jameson Inn Sanford.
