Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Odell Pond get into the 80's while night lows are typically in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Odell Pond are in the 20's. Some close by water includes Brooks Creek, and there are plenty of folks from Durham here at Odell Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at The Preserve       at Jordon Lake Golf Club not far from Odell Pond, and whitewater paddling is nice on Haw River. So many enjoyable things to do here at Odell Pond, too great to be true. Lambeth Mountain is simple to spot from Odell Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Odell Pond has to offer, you can camp at Spring Hill Park. Odell Pond is a wet place that gets lots of rain; most of the rain falls through May; September meanwhile is the driest month. If                  you need a location to stay Carolina Inn is a great choice; why not stop at Odell Pond Dam while you're here. After a long day outdoors The Franklin Hotel is a delightful location to spend a night or two.
