Rocky Broad River
 | The Rocky Broad River- Class IV-V???? Are you kidding? Not since I moved here in '85 has there even been much water there! You can barely even float a boat on it unless it has rained for several days! My 7yo daughter tubed it last year (at least when she wasn't bumping over the shallow rocks). Even this year when we've tons on rain, a kayaker would have trouble picking a deep enough line through the shoals.... |
Green River
| This section is fun but not very difficult. The river is full of tubers in the summer. Trout fishing is good here so bring a rod, just be sure you know the regulations as they change on different sections and the game wardens are notorious ticket writers. The put in is at ''Fish Top'' access and the take out is at the ''Big Rock'' access parking lot both on Green River Cove Rd. Also from the Big Rock access to the public landing on Lake Adger is a good trip, but a little slower.... |
