Go to Oak Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. A day at Currituck Beach in close proximity to Oak Pond is time well spent, and the panorama of Luark Hill is picturesque. If you came for an overnight stay Bay Haven Camp is a nice spot to camp; if you need a place to stay The Inn At Corolla Light is a great choice. At Oak Pond during the summer months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's,

After a long day outdoors Sunnybank Luxury Estate is a magnificent location to spend a night or two, and going for a hike on the Jeep Trail is always a pleasant adventure. If you adore the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Oak Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes Oak Pond a wet place; the month with most of the rain is July, and November is the month with the least moisture.
