High temperatures at North State Lake during the days of summer are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Highs all through the wintertime are usually in the 40's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for North State Lake tend to be in the 20's. Glade Creek is a splendid place to check out, and North State       Dam is not far at all from North State Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to North State Lake. There are other places here than North State Lake, for example Ralph Flowers Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Lake Hickory RV Resort is a delightful location to camp. North State Lake commonly gets much precipitation; most of the rain falls all through June, and November on the other hand is                  the driest. If you come at the right time of year, Yadkin River offers some great whitewater, and since you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Brushy Mountain Golf Club. Lakes? Sure, Lake Hickory is around here, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CONOVER (HICKORY AREA) is a pleasant site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
