Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures                  at North Fork Reservoir dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Having a good time at North Fork Reservoir is simple. Really great skiing awaits you at Wolf Laurel, and a fine site for whitewater paddling is Rocky Broad River. So many entertaining things in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just mind-boggling.
