Wright Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and Van Hoy Farms is a pleasant local campground. The high level of rainfall makes Noname a relatively wet place; the month with most of the rain is June; the driest of the months is November. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A delightful nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express JONESVILLE-ELKIN       AREA, and if you get bored of Noname you could also explore nearby Wildcat Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like East Swan Creek, and Super 8 Jonesville/Elkin Area is a fine spot to get some rest. Noname is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. People from North Wilkesboro love to come to Noname; at Noname you can see Horde Mountain. Through the months of summer at Noname temperatures are usually in the 80's.                  Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's while Noname overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. All year is a magnificent time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you go for the outdoors. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mitchell River, and an afternoon playing golf at Cedar Lake Golf Course is always a diversion. Going for a hike on the Dogwood Trail is always a magnificent adventure; Noname is a good place to visit for more than one day, Fiddler's Grove Campgrounds is a good place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
