Do stop by Noname while you're in this part of North Carolina. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. Noname sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is May, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Eldreth At Mount Jefferson, and Old Taylor Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot.

| | If the weather is wonderful, you obtain a glorious view of Judd Mountain from Noname, and Greenfield Campground is a great campground nearby. You can take a little spree to K O A Dam since you're here at Noname; you could always explore Daniels Gap. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Campground is a good site to camp.
These mountains rock, just check out all the cool things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you're popping by Noname from North Wilkesboro, you won't be the only one. Whitewater paddling is
not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Reddies River, and if you need a location to stay Nations Inn is a pleasant choice. The warmest time of the year at Noname comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the overnight
is somewhat chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Noname fall into the 20's.
