If only every place had this much outdoors fun things, what a great world it would be. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Reddies River, and a tremendous place to visit close by is Daniels Gap. High temperatures at Noname during the warm days of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows       at Noname through the wintertime usually drop into the 20's. Noname sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest. You absolutely have to go for the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Elk Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Park Vista Motel. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.                  This lake is so wonderful. One of the dominant highlights of the surroundings of Noname is Judd Mountain; camping at W Kerr Scott Dam and Reservoir is always a splendid experience. These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's some flowing water close by, Old Taylor Branch is a stream you can stop at during your stay, and Noname is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Greenfield Campground is a nice local campground. While you're here at Noname you will meet lots of folks from close by North Wilkesboro; not far from Noname you get some magnificent water scenery at K O A Dam.
