Do stop by Noname while you're in this part of North Carolina. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. A great place for whitewater paddling right next door to Noname is Elk Creek; Lee's Country Inn is a delightful place to get some rest. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Near Noname you locate delightful sites like Gillam Gap.

| | from Noname; Reddies River is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Noname has to offer, you can camp at Greenfield Campground; at Aren Beshears Dam close to Noname there are some interesting things to see. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is abundant here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Noname is not the only location nearby, Noname is a nearby lake; if you need a site to stay Park Vista Motel is a fine choice.

Man, is there a load of enjoyable things to do close to Noname. Noname is a place with many visitors from North Wilkesboro. There's so much to do here at Noname that you need to camp here for a while, W Kerr Scott Dam and Reservoir
is a good spot for that. For the period of the summer months highs here at Noname get into the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and
overnight lows in the 20's for Noname. The high level of precipitation makes Noname a rather wet spot; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month is January.
