If you get bored of Noname, you could also pop by nearby Poole Lake, and there's some flowing water nearby, Lower Barton Creek is a stream you can go to while here. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Noname that you need to camp here for a while, Champion Cheerleading Camps is a nice location for that; Ragsdale Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. If you're a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Brevofield Golf

A perfect nearby hotel is Renaissance Raleigh Hotel at North Hills; from Noname you obtain a great sight of Adam Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Noname. If you need a spot to stay Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh Triangle Town Center is a perfect choice, and Coachmans Trail Dam is a gorgeous location, certainly worth checking
out. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you're going to Noname from Raleigh-Cary, you won't be the only one; get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Neuse River. The high level of precipitation
makes Noname a relatively wet site; the month with most of the rain is August, and April is the month with the least moisture.

Beaverdam Lake
 | Beaverdam Lake is really a part of Falls Lake. It is approximately fifteen minutes north of the I-540 beltway on Highway 50. Beaverdam Lake is separated from the main lake by a partial dam and bridge. It is approximately 500 acres in size.
Beaverdam Lake is restricted; no gasoline engines are allowed. This makes it a great place for kayaks, canoes, sailboats and electric-motor propelled boats. It has a very nice concrete boat ramp and adjacent dock, and has a very large parking lot. Adjacent to the boat launching ramp is a nice sand beach with floats delineating the swimming area and a small pavilion. ... |
