Noname is always a pleasure to visit. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Noname. This is a popular site for folks from Raleigh-Cary, and Noname is a delightful location to visit for more than one day, Broadreach Summer Adventures is a delightful location to camp nearby. An average amount of rain falls at Noname; throughout August this area sees the most rain; April is the month with the least moisture. Through the summertime

| | highs here at Noname reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Noname. If you need a location to stay Howard Johnson Express Inn is a great choice, and you can stay the night at Champion Cheerleading Camps. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Raleigh Inn & Suites is a fine location to get some rest, and you'll hit upon a lovely lake called Penny Pond. | |

Why not take a look at Eagle Crest Golf Course Dam if you're here, and lakes are such calm places, why not check out Bagwell Pond. Getting to Big Branch from Noname is painless; a golf course nearby is Raleigh Country Club. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Neuse River.

Guys Pond
 | 15 miles away Guy's Pond is a great place to fish. As of my latest fishing trip on 1/25/2009, it was $3 per person and $4 per night camping. Also, 14 years of age and younger were free! This is a great pond. While you are fishing, you can watch the cows, and/or the horses. The pond is much better than Pope's Lake. They kicked us out of that lake on the same day as my trip to Guy's Pond. I rate this pond as a 10 and suggest anyone in the area looking for a fishing hole should try Guy's Pond.... |
