If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Statesville/Nc is a tremendous choice; camping at Noname is great fun, Statesville KOA is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. South Yadkin River is a splendid whitewater spot in close proximity to Noname, and Noname is a spot with many visitors from Statesville-Mooresville. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Noname, and through       the night it cools down to the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Noname dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Midway Campground and RV Resort is a great campground here. Noname gets a good deal of water; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and April is when it's the driest. A quick tour to Greasy Creek near                  Noname is a good idea; fine water scenery is available at J C Neely Dam near Noname.
