If you like lakes and you're in this part of North Carolina you can check out Noname. If you need a spot to stay Sleep Inn Morganton is a fine choice; there's whitewater on Wilson Creek for all you adrenaline people. There are some great whitewater spots on Johns River, and don't forget to take a good little visit to Micol Creek. This lake is so wonderful. At Noname you can observe Mineral Springs Mountain, and Noname is a good location to camp, Playmore Beach

So many fun things to do here at Noname, too delightful to be true. Pine Mountain Campground is a pleasant campground here, and during your visit here you'll meet some people from Hickory-Morganton-Lenoir for sure. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more fun stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Morganton-I-40, Nc.

the summer months highs here at Noname reach the 80's; the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, typically in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures
at Noname descend into the 20's. Noname gets a lot of water; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is frequently the driest month. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. You don’t have to
go far from Noname to make out the water at Valdese Lake Dam, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Orchard Hills Golf Club is close by.
