You absolutely should like the Blue Ridge Mountains. A great place for whitewater paddling right next door to Noname is Wilson Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Mineral Springs Mountain can be spotted from Noname, and you'll probably meet some folks from Hickory-Morganton-Lenoir here. These mountains rock, just explore all the amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge       Mountains. You can run the rapids of Johns River near Noname; you don’t have to go far from Noname to make out the water at Valdese Lake Dam. All through the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Noname while overnight lows are mostly in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Noname dip into the 20's. Noname typically gets a large amount of rainfall;                  during May this area sees the most rain; January is the month with the least moisture. If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great earth it would be. There's so much to do here at Noname that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Mountain Campground is a wonderful spot for that; dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Morganton. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Noname has to offer, you can camp at Caretakers Cottage, and do stop at Micol Creek while you're here at Noname.
