    If you like lakes and you're in this part of North Carolina you can check out Noname. All the outdoors cool things right next door to Noname will keep you coming back over and over. If you need a place to stay Master Hosts - Alleghany Inn is a tremendous choice; going for a hike on the Dogwood Trail is always a great adventure. You clearly should have a thing about the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay New River Canoe and Campground is a fine  
   location to camp, and why not pop by D R Stone Dam if you're here. Noname is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Chestnut Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and the top of Rich Hill Mountain is easily spotted from Noname. This lake is so wonderful. Big Pine Creek is a delightful place to stop at, and an afternoon playing golf at Crestview Golf Course is always a delight. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the
 
               Blue Ridge Mountains. You'll meet a lot of folks from North Wilkesboro here; you can go for a hike on the Bournes Branch Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at New River Canoe Rentals; don't leave Noname without first going for a hike along the Yellow Branch Trail. Dry warm beds await you at High Meadows Inn Motel, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on New River.
A common amount of precipitation falls here at Noname; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is January. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Noname get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Noname tend to be in the 10's.
