The beauty of Noname is reason enough to stop by. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. After a long day outdoors Galax Knights Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two; get yourself into a kayak and hit Elk Creek. There's some flowing water nearby, Rock Branch is a stream you can stop at during your stay, and if you came to camp Deer Creek Recreational Vehicle Resort is a brilliant place

| | to do that. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Noname to spot the water at Van Dillon Dam, and while you're here you can play some golf at Olde Beau Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Mountain Trail, and get covered with water paddling on New River. Having a splendid time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is trouble-free. Branch Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Noname gets a typical amount of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month with
the least amount of precipitation. If only every site had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great earth it would be. Bullhead Mountain can be spotted from Noname; Noname is fine enough to spend more than a day at, New River
Canoe Rentals is a fine local campground. Looking for something in close proximity to Noname? Temple Lake is around here, and you'll meet a lot of folks from North Wilkesboro here. Man, is there a lot of fun things to do close
to Noname. Noname is not the only place close by, Little Glade Millpond is a close by lake; close by you find the Dogwood Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. Throughout the months of summer here at Noname, high temperatures commonly
reach the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Noname.

We are at the head of a rails to trail biking, hiking, horseback riding trail. The Trail runs from Fries to Pulaski, Virginia. Five miles down the trail from Fries is a 12 mile leg that takes you into Galax.
We are located five miles from Galax, Virginia, fifteen miles from Independence, Virginia, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Blue Ridge Music Center. Thirty-five miles from Grayson Highland State Park (scenic beauty, wild horses)and thirty-five miles from Floyd, Va (bluegrass music).
