Why not stop by Noname if you're passing through these parts. From a rainfall point of view Noname is a quite typical place; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. No Head Branch is a tremendous local stream, and get dripping wet paddling on New River. This place, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things.

| | If you're a golfer then a magnificent close by course is Olde Beau Golf Club; if you're hooked on cool geologic marks try Devils Garden.
Camping at New River Canoe Rentals is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Wilkesboro, Nc is a great choice, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mountain Trail. hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Noname dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
This lake is one of the great places here in the
Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Dogwood Trail; Air Bellows Gap is in the neighborhood, and is a good location. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do
here at Noname. A magnificent location to camp here at Noname is New River Canoe and Campground, and after a long day outdoors Master Hosts - Alleghany Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two.
There's some out of the ordinary
stuff to catch a sight of at Air Bellows Dam next to Noname, and this is a popular site for folks from North Wilkesboro. The Perkins Knob Trail offers hiking at its best, and Green Mountain can be seen from Noname.
