Noname is not far at all from Hickory-Morganton-Lenoir, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CONOVER (HICKORY AREA). This lake is so wonderful. Barrett Mountain can be made out from Noname, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Rink Lake. For the period of the summer months at Noname temperatures are typically in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. The cold days

| | of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Noname dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. All the water falling down from the sky makes Noname a wet spot; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. If you need a place to stay Park Inn Hickory is a good choice, and if you came for an overnight stay W Kerr Scott Dam and Reservoir is a good spot to camp. There are some brilliant whitewater
spots on Reddies River, and playing golf is lots of fun at Brushy Mountain Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Elk Creek. Lower Little River Dam Number One is an interesting thing to check out, and camping is available at Lake Hickory RV Resort.
