At Myers Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Myers Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful site to camp here at       Myers Lake is Tanglewood Family Resort, and the scenery at Myers Lake Dam is striking. Much rain falls at Myers Lake; through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and November on the other hand is the driest. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Myers Lake; Hanging Rock Trail is a glorious local trail, and at Myers Lake you always meet someone from Winston-Salem. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend                  Dan River. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading. Lower Janita Lake is a good lake near Myers Lake, and some of the water close by flows, like Burke Creek.
