A visit to Murray Hilton Lake is always a good idea. Murray Hilton Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Whitewater paddling is splendid on First Broad, and you can spot Allen Mountain from Murray Hilton Lake. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful.

| | not enough time. Camping at Murray Hilton Lake is nice fun, Foothills Family Campground is a nice local campground, and nearby you find Betts Gap which is a great place to visit. It's always tremendous to go to Cooper Springs; Murray Hilton Lake Dam has wonderful water scenery. Summertime highs at Murray Hilton Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's; overnight lows in the 20's for Murray Hilton | |

There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Some close by water includes Allen Branch; Lake James Landing is a tremendous campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Jameson Inn Forest City is
a delightful place to get some rest; get dripping wet paddling on Catawba River. This lake is so wonderful.
There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Murray Hilton Lake. Lots of people from Forest City come to Murray Hilton Lake; after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Forest City is a splendid place to spend a night or two.
