     After a long day outdoors Value Place Fayetteville CD is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Little River. All through the months of summer highs here at Mott Lake reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Mott Lake. Mott Lake is a wet site that gets much precipitation; the month  
   with most of the rain is July while April is frequently the driest month. A tremendous nearby hotel is Days Inn Raeford, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by McKiethan Pond.
Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the vicinity of Mott Lake. If you came to camp Heritage Camping and Recreation is a perfect place to do that. There's so much to do here at Mott Lake that you need to camp here for a while,
 
               Pine Lake Campground is a great spot for that; a pleasant panorama of charming Finlayson Mountain is available. This lake is so wonderful. NC Noname Thirty-Four Dam is not far at all from Mott Lake, and not far from Mott Lake you'll find Williamson Pond which is a charming lake.

I can be reached at, yellowcheeks2001@yahoo.  We just bought a boat and don't know of any good size lakes to go to. If you know of a good spot, let me know....Good Lake for canoeing, but you have to stay near the creeks or geat a membership for 120 or so....

Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking.  Also nice beach area for the summer....
