Summertime highs at Mott Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Mott Lake       dip into the 20's. The high level of precipitation makes Mott Lake a rather wet location; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here while April is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Raeford Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two; why not camp at Pine Lake Campground while you're here at Mott Lake.
