But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Camping at Little River Camping Resort is always a good experience, and enjoy a round of golf at Glen Cannon Country Club Golf. You can take a little visit to Mother Earth Upper Dam while you're here at Mother Earth Upper, and a good nearby hotel is Stanfill's Country Cottages. Mother Earth Upper is a pretty wet place mostly with       a great deal of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. Having a nice time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is easy. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River, and you'll stumble on a striking lake called Hawkins Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Pisgah Inn is a nice choice, and if the weather is brilliant, you can                  go for a hike along the Laurel Mountain Trail. During the days of summer at Mother Earth Upper temperatures are usually in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Mother Earth Upper. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mother Earth Upper you can take a hike along the Mullinax Trail, and the sight of Fodderstack Mountain is beautiful. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff close to Mother Earth Upper will keep you coming back repeatedly. A glorious location to camp here at Mother Earth Upper is Mountain Laurel Resort, and the Black Mountain Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by. Blue Ridge Parkway is a good national park, and a nice location is Ballard Gap. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Mother Earth Upper is not far at all from Brevard, and swing by Betty Branch it's a magnificent place to stop at. Having a good time at Mother Earth Upper is trouble-free.
