If only every place had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great globe it would be. Camping at The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads is always a great experience; Morris Pond is not the only spot nearby, Barrows Millpond is a nearby lake. The high level of rain makes Morris Pond a rather wet site; all through August this area sees the most       rain; November is when it's the driest. Here at Morris Pond there are plenty of folks from Roanoke Rapids; if you need a place to stay Days Inn Weldon Roanoke Rapids is a great choice. Why not visit Morris Pond Dam if you're here; you can run the rapids of Roanoke River. Throughout the summertime highs here at Morris Pond get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's, and                  nighttime lows in the 20's for Morris Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
