If you come at the right time of year, Little River offers some good whitewater, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Carolina       Lakes Golf Course. Summer at Morris Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Morris Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Jordan Dam RV Park and Campground is always a great experience, and there are nice spots to look at along the Northington Ferry Trail. You just can't imagine the amount of                  outdoors cool stuff the area near Morris Pond has to offer. You could also take a look at Lake Trace since you're here at Morris Pond; it's nearby, and you don’t have to go far from Morris Pond to observe the water at Morris Pond Dam. Camping is available at Heritage Camping and Recreation; going for a hike on the Lanier Falls Trail is always a glorious adventure. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Deep River. Morris Pond usually gets a lot of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is September. This lake is so wonderful.
