If you like lakes and you're in this part of North Carolina you can check out Morganton Watershed Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. Lots of folks from Forest City come to Morganton Watershed Lake, and the main mark in the neighborhood is the South Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. He Creek flows through this area; get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Catawba River.

Lake, and Morganton Watershed Dam is stunning. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains rules! Horse Mountain Gap is near Morganton Watershed Lake and is a nice spot, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Pine Mountain Golf Course is in close proximity.
