Summertime highs at Morgan Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. All the outdoors exciting things in the Blue Ridge Mountains will keep you       coming back persistently. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Marion is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Catawba River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Triple C Campground; there's whitewater on Catawba River for all you thrill seekers. A lot of precipitation falls at Morgan Lake; the month with most of the rain is March, and December is the month with the least                  moisture. Nix Creek is a stream that you may run into while here, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Forest City for sure. Having a fine time at Morgan Lake is simple. Lake Tahoma is a nearby lake that you could go to, and Bald Mountain is trouble-free to spot from Morgan Lake. There are magnificent locations to explore along the Bald Mountain Trail, and Morgan Dam has fine water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains.
