If you want a fine time       in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. This is a popular site for folks from North Wilkesboro, and there's always Moravian Camp Lake Dam to go to right next door to Moravian Camp Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Through the summer highs here at Moravian Camp Lake get into the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's; after the sun is down all through                  the wintertime temperatures at Moravian Camp Lake plunge into the 20's. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Reddies River; if you're here, you might as well go to Alder Gap. Moravian Camp Lake is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Holiday Inn Express Wilkesboro, Nc is a great spot to get some rest, and naturally Laurel Fork is a scenic stream that is worth going to. A great location to camp here at Moravian Camp Lake is River Camp USA RV Park and Campground, and if the weather is lovely, you get a magnificent view of Grandmother Mountain from Moravian Camp Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
