Courtyard Charlotte Airport is a great site to get some rest; there's some flowing water close by, Ticer Branch is a stream you can stop by while you're here. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Moore Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 50's while Moore Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Camping is available at Paramount's Carowinds Campground, and whitewater paddling is fine on Catawba River - South Fork. A golf course near Moore Lake is Revolution Park Golf Course.
