Moore Lake is a lake worth visiting. These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Moore Lake; Mullinax Trail is a tremendous local trail, and why not take a little spree to Brush Creek if you're here. Good hiking is available along the Shut-In Trail, and Merril Cove is a brilliant location to stretch your legs a bit. So many exciting things to do here at Moore Lake, too tremendous

| | to be true. If you came for an overnight stay Azalea Country Campground is a great site to camp. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If time allows, Blue Ridge Parkway is a national park worth stopping at, and Big Hungry Creek is a great whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Ski Beech close by, and camping at Moore Lake is glorious fun, Arden RV Park and Camp Grounds is a glorious local campground. | |

You clearly must like the Blue Ridge Mountains. Wolf Laurel is a very popular ski area around here, and Inn At Wintersun is a wonderful place to get some rest. The amount of rainfall that falls at Moore Lake is close to the national
average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Brookwood Golf Club, and dry warm beds await you at
Asheville/North Carolina Days Inn. A brilliant place for whitewater paddling near Moore Lake is Swannanoa River, and a tremendous spot nearby is Fairview Gap. If you go for the outdoors, you'll like Moore Lake. Lots of folks from
Asheville come to Moore Lake; you can go for a hike on the Side Hill Trail. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Moore Lake get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter
come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Moore Lake descend into the 20's.
