Beautiful Moore Creek Upper Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Moore Creek Upper Lake has it all. Scaly Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Carolina Motel is a good site to spend a night or two, and you're probably into lakes, Moore Creek Lower Lake is one of those close by.

Moore Creek Upper Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Deep Gap Campground is a fine local campground; there are some great whitewater spots on Nantahala River. Black Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting, and one of the governing features of the surroundings of Moore Creek Upper Lake is Angel Mountain. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is plentiful here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Playing golf is lots of fun at Mill Creek Country
Club; there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Rufus Morgan Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Moore Creek Upper is a beautiful spot right next door to Moore Creek Upper Lake; a perfect nearby hotel is Chatuge Mountain Inn.
If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Going for a hike on the Rartram Trail is always a splendid adventure, and if you're here why not explore Big Stamp.
There's whitewater
on Nantahala River for all you adrenaline junkies, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Sky Valley. Moore Creek Upper Lake typically gets a good deal of precipitation; most of the rain falls through March,
and October is when it's the driest. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Moore Creek Upper Lake; the night is a tad colder of course, typically in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; during the dark hours in the winter at Moore Creek Upper Lake temperatures descend to the 20's.
