On a pleasant day at Moore Creek Lower Lake you can take a hike along the Rartram Trail; you can never get enough of the fine skiing at Sky Valley. Really nice skiing awaits you at Scaly Mountain. For the period of the days of summer at Moore Creek Lower Lake temperatures are       ordinarily in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Moore Creek Lower Lake. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Nantahala River offers some great whitewater; if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Rufus Morgan Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Chatuge Mountain Inn, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Thorn Mountain Trail. So many amusing things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not enough time.
