This place is great, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do in the neighborhood of Moody Lake. If you came to camp Charlotte/Fort Mill KOA is a tremendous location to do that, and if you need a site to stay Hyatt Place Charlotte City Park is a good choice. Some close by water includes Coffey Creek, and if you get bored of Moody Lake you could also go to close by Johnston Lake. Moody Lake is a quite       wet place commonly with a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest of the months is April. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Catawba River - South Fork, and a lake close by is Johnson Lake. At Moody Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's.
