This place, Monks Pond, it just has so much outdoors fun stuff. Microtel Inn and Suites is a tremendous location to get some rest. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Monks Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Monks Pond. Why not pop       by Monts Pond Dam if you're here. Lakes are good; Harris Millpond is a lake that's close to Monks Pond. If you came to camp Contentea Campground is a good location to do that; not far from Monks Pond you'll find Harris Millpond which is a lovely lake. A brilliant close by hotel is Candlewood Suites GREENVILLE WEST, and unsurprisingly Lawrence Run flows through this region. Monks Pond generally gets much rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most                  of the rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
