Why not stop by Mirror Lake if you're passing through these parts. Gotta ski! Scaly Mountain is a wonderful place to do that; while you're here you can take a hike along the Three Forks Trail. Summer at Mirror Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 40's with temperatures at Mirror Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy

Mirror Lake is a magnificent place to camp, Van Hook Glade Campground is a magnificent place, and on a pretty day you acquire a good vista of Big Dog Mountain from Mirror Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cullasaja River; enjoy a round of golf at Highlands Falls Country Club Pool & Tennis. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. | |

Mirror Lake Dam is a wonderful site close to Mirror Lake, and going for a hike along the Shortoff Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more
amusing stuff to do here at Mirror Lake. If the weather is great here at Mirror Lake, you can go for a hike along the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing
at Sky Valley; there are plenty of folks from Seneca here at Mirror Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A tremendous close by hotel is Hampton Inn Highlands; why not take a little tour to Bad
Branch since you're here. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Mirror Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Mirror Lake has to offer, you can camp at Vanhook Glade Campground, and if
you need a spot to stay The Inn at Half Mile Farm is a nice choice. Mirror Lake is a pretty wet place usually with a large amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently March, that's the one that rains the most;
the driest month of the year is October. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Mirror Lake, you'll hit upon Cliffside Lake which is a pretty lake; Bridal Veil Falls is a brilliant local attraction.
