Van Hook Glade Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and Bridal Veil Falls is always fun to check out. The       snow is good at Sky Valley; Mirror Lake is right by the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
