Here at Mintz Pond you'll almost certainly meet some people from Fayetteville. Lakes are wonderful; Clarks Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Mintz Pond. High temperatures at Mintz Pond through the summertime months are in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are commonly in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Mintz Pond temperatures sink to the 20's. Mintz Pond is a good site to visit

| | for more than one day, Lazy Acres is a good site to camp nearby. If you come at the right time of year, Little River offers some great whitewater, and Baymont Inn and Suites Fayetteville/Ft. Bragg is a fine place to get some rest.

Lake is one of those nearby. Lots of rainfall falls at Mintz Pond; July is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is November.
This lake is so wonderful. Mintz Pond Dam has tremendous water scenery and it's close to Mintz Pond; dry warm beds await you at Knights Inn Fayetteville/Fort Bragg.

 | Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking. Also nice beach area for the summer.... |
