Looking for a great visit? Cape Lookout National Seashore is rather near Mill Pond. Salter Path Family Campground is a glorious campground nearby; not far from Mill Pond you'll discover Patsy Pond which is a pretty lake. Mill Pond is a wet site that gets a great deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most,       and October on the other hand is the driest. You'll meet a lot of folks from Morehead City here, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Neusiok Trail. Summertime at Mill Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's.
