The high level of rainfall makes Middle Lake a pretty wet location; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and an out of the ordinary thing to pop by close to Middle Lake is Bob Cat Acres Lake Dam.
