A visit to Mid Pines Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Little River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; lakes are such serene spots, why not have a look at Southern Pines Waterworks. A great deal of rainfall falls at Mid Pines Lake; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is April. There are some great whitewater spots on Deep River, and why not camp at Pine Lake Campground
