So much exciting stuff to do here at Messinger Lake, too tremendous to be true. A glorious place for whitewater paddling near Messinger Lake is Yadkin River; hey, Grants Creek is a good local stream. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on South Yadkin River; Comfort Suites Salisbury is a nice site to get some rest. Messinger Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and Staley       Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. If you came for an overnight stay Dan Nicholas Park is a tremendous location to camp, and Country Club of Salisbury is a golf course close by. The high level of precipitation makes Messinger Lake a rather wet place; the month with most of the rain is May while April is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Bass Lake Resort since you're here at Messinger Lake, and you're sure to encounter                  some smiling people from Salisbury here. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the days of summer here at Messinger Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Messinger Lake.
